Hee Hawww! Yahoo! Giddy Up! What kid hasn’t imagined themselves King (or Queen) of the rodeo? Can’t you picture it? A western landscape…hot and dusty…sunny and smokey. And who arises from this scene? None other than the fastest-firing-gunslinger in all the west! This kid epitomizes what a cowboy should be. Decked out like the cowboys of cowboys in a: vest and tie, cowboy boots, rodeo jeans covered by chaps, gun and holster, with the coolest cowboy hat to complete the look. Now that’s a cowboy! And that’s just what your kids are imagining that they are REAL cowboys and cowgirls!
There are many coloring page themes and subjects to choose from but nothing tops cowboy coloring pages! Boys love cowboys and little girls love them too. Children have been playing cowboys and Indians since the beginning of time. Or how about shoot em’ up? What about a game of ”pow, pow, pow”? It doesn’t matter what you call it. It’s all about being a cowboy. And for every kid who pretends to be a cowboy, you’ll find a lot of hooting and hollering, running around, play toy guns and rifles, rope, and who knows what else. Your child’s imagination is wide open, creative, and bound by nothing. And that’s the beauty of a child.
When one colors, all negative emotions should wear off. Once you empty your brain and heart of those negative feelings that make you stressed out, there should be more room for positivity. Since you are positive and filled with good energy after coloring, there must be no difficulty in continuing your job with full productivity. In the end, coloring is soothing. There are so many proofs and studies on that. When something soothes you, it cannot be harmful. So, this must be a good reason to seize this as an opportunity to make your crew at the company both positive, cheerful and stress-free or encouraged to cope with their work.
Why Children’s Coloring Pages are Important, Today’s children still love coloring just as much as the Old People used to when they were children. In addition to this fact, it’s now known that coloring is a wondrous pre-reading activity which helps children develop the hand-eye coordination they’ll need for learning how to write. Parents who encourage the use of children’s coloring pages are also encouraging an array of other development skills including decision making, patience, persistence, and creativity.
Elementary school is a tough time in the lives of many children. Most kids report a lot of boredom at school. They hate homework and would rather be playing outside. Although recess is fun, most of their time is spent doing some things that they find boring. Perhaps this is a good idea given that some kids will end up doing a job they don’t like! However, shouldn’t elementary school be a time when kids have some fun? Obviously you need to teach them some critical skills, but it is also important for them to enjoy themselves. One way to do so is to encourage their creative side. If kids are given an opportunity to express themselves and control a creative product you will find that they enjoy school much more. Regular creative projects will dramatically change the way elementary school kids think about learning. Because most kids love animals it is a good idea to integrate this love with their creativity. Although most kids don’t know how to draw animals they can learn to color them. Described below are some of my favorite animal coloring crafts for elementary school.
Coloring environments for animals. The kids in your class are probably used to coloring animals but they might not be used to coloring the environments in which animals live. If you want to teach the kids something about animal habitats this is a great exercise. Split the class up into groups and have each group color a large panorama of a landscape. Place different landscapes and habitats in different parts of the room. Provide pictures to the students so that they have a general idea of the appropriate colors. Then cut out the animals the children have been drawing and attach them to the habitats. The finished product is an attractive image of a wildlife scene that can teach the children a great deal about their favorite animals. It will also help to teach them the importance of preserving habitat.
